The Begining of Abstract Form

A collection of 160 sculptures that span five millennia, from 6,000 B.C. to 1,000 B.C. from territories as far the west as the Iberian peninsula, as far east as Bactria, as far north as Scandinavia, and as far south as Egypt. The spirit of curiosity and willingness to explore that is an enduring legacy of modern art which has so often been inspired by these objects, would serve as a basis for the consideration of these works of art.
